This 1923 Gibson F2 Mandolin is a very nice Loar-era mando. It has a lovely, bright, and clean original finish with only minor nicks and dings. There is minor wear through the finish on the back of its neck. Obviously this is an instrument that was a prized possession—played, but always meticulously cared for. The sound is rich and full, just like you'd expect from a mid-1920s mando. This 1923 Gibson F2 Mandolin is in Excellent condition and all original, including the hard shell case. Serial #71364.
