This 1963 EM-200 Florentine Electric Mandolin is a fascinating piece of Gibson electric history. Featuring an all mahogany build, this mando is a solid axe weighing in at 5.05 lbs, feeling powerful and deep. With the single P-90 pickup, this delivers warm tones with a solid twang. Gold hardware and a burst top delivers a clean vintage look that is begging to be played out. 

The 1 1/8"nut width, 13 7/8" scale length, and comfortable "C" feeling profile, it plays extra easy with a lower electric style action, perfect for licks. In Very Good condition, there's some tasteful checking on the finish and a bit of playwear, in particular on the pickguard; minor fret wear is present only in the first position. The original tuners are not in working shape and have been swapped with Kluson Supreme tuners, though they are included in the case. A rare collectable offering from the '60s Gibson era, this electric mando is a super fun piece that sounds fantastic. Comes with the original hardshell case.
