This used Gibson Mandolins - 1993 F5-L, based on the Loar F-5s of old, features a non-raised fingerboard and tone bar construction. Gold plated hardware, Fern peghead inlay, bound elevated ebony fingerboard, spruce top and flamed maple back and sides are just a few of the gorgeous appointments on this instrument. Clear, bright tone with plenty of woody chop to keep up with any jam, this sunburst mando is as visually stunning as it is fun to play. Signed luthier Steve Carlson, this 1993 F5-L includes a hardshell case. Serial# 3539049
