Coming across a Gretsch Electromatic Student Steel Lap Steel guitar doesn't happen everyday, especially one from the early '50s. This comet-shaped guitar has a volume and tone control on either side of its neck, 29 frets with various shapes along its fingerboard, a single-coil pickup (all you really need for a guitar like this), brown fret guide board, and a caramel-colored, synthetic pearl finish. While the original tuners have been replaced, the rest of it is original, including its excellent tone. It's in Very Good condition with little-to-no wear on its body and some mild wear on the fingerboard, mostly around the 24th fret. A great value for lap guitarists, this 50s Gretsch Electromatic Student Steel Lap Steel is excellent for players, collectors and enthusiasts alike. No case but a gig bag is available for just a bit more.
