This Guild D-55 NT dates back to 1979 and features a spruce top, paired with rosewood back and sides. A classic strummer, with a quick decay that makes it great for singer-songwriter accompaniment. Here in good condition, there is wear consistent with an over 40-year-old instrument including playwear, gouges in the wood and a few deeper scratches on the treble side waist. The frets have recently been dressed and Plek'd. There is evidence of the neck being previously reset. The binding has shrunk and cracked over time, which is typical of these '70s Guild models. The binding has been repaired. Includes hardshell case.
