This used 1996 JF-55-AB was built at the famous Westerly, RI Guild plant during what Guild aficionados refer to as their golden-era (1966-2001). This American made jumbo delivers a big, resonant sound that fills up a space without being in any way harsh. Featuring a premium, solid Sitka top, paired with a striking set of premium, solid rosewood back and sides, this big-body guitar produces a deep, full sound, that projects while staying out of the way thanks to the tonal response of the rosewood. Here in Very Good condition, there is a little playwear directly above the pickguard and minor finish swirly throughout. Minimal fretwear. Includes the original hardshell case.
