This used Soloway Hollow Body Swan is a rare hollow, Redwood-topped Swan model from renowned builder, Jim Soloway, and boy is it special. The neck actually extends into the body all the way under the neck pickup, leaving the rest of the body completely hollow. This helps you achieve the buttery clarity of a jazz guitar, but without the associated feedback problems typical in many hollow bodies. This Swan also has what Soloway calls his fingerstyle spaced 1 13/16” nut. The scale length is 27” which allows for increased power and sustain and also gives the guitar versatility to double as a baritone if desired. The contours of the body with its slight slope at the armrest and carve in the back were designed for comfort, particularly for those who play seated, but it balances on a strap wonderfully as well. Loaded with two DiMarzio PAF humbuckers, it's full of jazzy warmth and clarity, but can also throw down on some pretty mean blues and rock tones when needed. This Soloway Hollow Body Swan is in Excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case.
