This used Martin 0-17 was built in 1936 and features all-Mahogany construction with an incredibly comfortable Soft V neck profile and clean Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Built during the Golden Era of Martin guitars, it's a superior player both sonically and visually. A small guitar with a huge voice, it's expressive, warm, and full with incredible overtones - the perfect guitar for old-timey flatpicking, as well as fingerpicking. Here in Very Good condition, it has some scuffs and dings on it, but nothing to keep it from still sounding incredible. Especially considering it's nearly 80 years old!

Its original tuners have been replaced with black Waverly tuners, but it's otherwise all-original. The scale length is slightly shorter at 24.9" while the nut width is slightly wider at 1 3/4". The fingerboard and bridge are Brazilian Rosewood, and it has some nice appointments throughout: a tortoiseshell pickguard, black/white rosette, Ivoroid dot inlays, and a bone saddle. The Martin 0-17 is truly an amazing guitar, built for playing and simply enjoying. All you need to perfectly complement it is a covered porch and rocking chair. Includes original chip case.
