This used Martin 000-28EC Eric Clapton acoustic, here in Excellent condition, was designed after the very guitar Clapton predominantly played during his unforgettable MTV Unplugged performance in '92. An undeniably versatile guitar, the 000 is perfect for practically every style of music, particularly blues, jazz, bluegrass, and country, and equally accommodating for both flatpicking and fingerstyle playing. At just the right size, with a 15" lower bout and 4 1/8" depth, it's suited for playing at home and in the studio, for traveling and on stage. Made with a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, it gives you the volume of a larger bodied guitar, and the clarity and multi-dimensionality of something smaller like a parlor.
A select hardwood neck with Martin's Modified V shape make it incredibly easy and comfortable to play, and a 1 3/4" nut width makes quick chord changes a cinch. Loaded with subtle, elegant details, it has a modern appeal with vintage allure, including zig-zag purfling, Herringbone rosette and top inlay, grained ivoroid binding, and Clapton's signature at the 20th fret. A genuinely incredible player, this used Martin 000-28EC is, like Slowhand himself, one for the ages. Includes original hardshell case.
