Martin Acoustic Guitars - 1976 D-35

SOLD - Contact us for more options

This used Martin D-35 is the same model and year as one of Elvis Presley's final guitars - the one he inadvertently cracked a hole in the top during a show in Florida. This one has all the stylings and attitude of the King's - only without that gaping hole. It does have the standard three-piece Indian Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top, Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard - all of which pair perfectly together and sound incredible: big and bold with a nice response and dynamic tone. No wonder it was the King's first choice.

Here in Excellent condition, it has minimal playwear throughout, with only some minor, noticeable scratches on the back. The frets are clean, too. This has a 25.4" scale length and 1 11/16" nut width. It's also loaded with some nice appointments: white binding with black/white purfling; a black pickguard; 28-Style rosette and fingerboard inlays; and 35-Style backstrips. A fantastic player through and through, this Martin D-35 from 1976 includes its original hardshell case (with blue lining).
