This Martin 1945 000-18 delivers that lightweight, responsive, wartime Martin sound. Landing towards the end of Martin's transition from Adirondack (Red) spruce to Sitka source, this 000 falls into an illusive mystery top category for 1945. Here with rear-shifted, tapered, X-bracing, there is a wonderful punch, focus and direct quality to the tone of this guitar.

The guitar has benefited from a professional neck reset and refret. The finish is original save for minor touch up in front of the bridge, along with the repair on the treble side upper bout (see photos). Repaired pickguard top crack. The bridge was formerly bolted on, the holes have since been filled and the bridge was reglued. The bridge and bridge plate are original. Original tuners. Ebony-rod neck support. Includes modern hardshell case.

Payment via Wire Transfer preferred.
