This used Martin HD-28V from 2005 is in Very Good condition and plays beautifully. Like so many other great Martins, this one is a cannon, with a full, warm sound and real clarity. It has a Sitka Spruce top with an aging toner, paired with beautiful East Indian Rosewood back and sides for a spectacular, resonant tone. The back and sides show a bit of wear—namely a bit of buckle rash (see photos). The top is pretty clean with only a few superficial pick swirls and small dings. It all combines for a guitar that has a wonderful played-in feel, especially with the comfortable modified V neck, Ebony fretboard, and 1 11/16" nut width. The Herringbone back stripe and top binding brings it all home, with a truly classic aesthetic. Here's a great opportunity to save some dollars on a stellar dread. This Martin HD-28V comes with its original hard case, too. USED
