This 2011 HD-28 from the Martin Custom Shop hosts premium upgrades and features for an absolute home-run of a guitar. An Adirondack top paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides delivers low-end punch with a nice clarity. The forward shifted, scalloped X-bracing amplifies these lows and the overall volume, taking inspiration from its vintage counterparts. 

The mahogany neck, featuring a 1 11/16" nut width and satin finish, plays smoothly thanks to the low oval neck profile and standard taper. Visual upgrades on this guitar are the herringbone purfling and a zigzag backstrip. Here in Very Good condition, there is minor playwear and a few small dents to the finish. Includes the original Martin Hardshell case.
