This 2022 OM-28 Modern Deluxe is a more recent offering from the Nazareth-based team with a unique take on an Orchestra Model classic. Hiding a new modern construction method under a vintage 28-style hood, this guitar delivers a wholly different sound profile to your standard Martin. The top has been treated with Martin's Vintage Tone System (VTS) giving it that warmth and depth of an old friend, while modern details like the introduction of a carbon fiber/maple bridge plate gives this guitar a snap and responsiveness not heard in other models. Indian Rosewood Back & Sides fill out that bass, keeping things warm and not too bright with all that increased snap. Other construction details such as the lighter steel truss rod and protein glue construction for an overall very light build with immense resonance.

28-style appointments such as Diamonds and Squares inlays and the rosette, as well as some unique Liquidmetal bridge pins, adorn this already lovely guitar. A factory LR Baggs Anthem pickup for playing out and recording is installed.

This 2022 model has arrived to us in Very Good condition, with some discoloration behind the headstock, a few marks on the side of the headstock. There are lower bout finish dents on the top, playwear along the rosette, as well some pickguard playwear. All in all a great offering from the higher end of the Martin line at a more affordable price. Comes with Original Hardshell Case.
