This used 2003 Martin D-18GE Sunburst acoustic guitar is built with many iconic elements of Martin's legendary '30s and early '40s Golden Era guitars and has a real presence, but also proves itself to be an incredibly versatile dread. It's a classic pairing of an Adirondack Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides for a full sound - you can fingerpick a beautiful tune easily or really dig in and fire it up to an acoustic '11'. It's hard to go wrong with something as versatile as this D-18GE. This particular one is in Mint condition with some elegant yet understated appointments including the vintage style burst, Old Style 18 rosette, Style 18 back purfling, and Old Style 18 fingerboard inlays.
It's a joy to play too with a select hardwood neck, comfortable Modified V shape and the Ebony fingerboard which looks untouched - in fact, the entire guitar is flawless. It has a 25 2/5" scale, a 1 3/4" bone nut, a long-style saddle with 2 5/16" string spacing, and an Ebony 1930s-style Belly bridge. An amazing guitar overall, and one of the most popular, the Martin D-18GE Sunburst includes its original hardshell case too.
