This spectacular, used Martin D-40QM Limited Edition acoustic guitar is number 73 of just 200 produced. It has a Sitka Spruce top with Autumn Maple toner, paired with gorgeous Quilted Maple back and sides, which give you really great, immediate response and ringing sustain. The bass is booming, with nice mids, and clear, bell-like highs that are not overly bright. Nothing thin about the tone of this D-40. This guitar has an outstanding tonal presence.
This has a 25.4" scale length, a 1 11/16" nut width, with 2 1/8" string spacing. The Mahogany neck has a low profile and an Ebony fingerboard that looks untouched. There are plenty of classic appointments on this beauty including a Style 45 backstrip that beautifully complements the golden Quilted Maple, a tortoise-style pickguard, simple Abalone rosette and hexagonal Abalone inlays on the fretboard. This Martin D-40QM Limited Edition is rare enough, but one in Mint condition is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Includes original hardshell case too.
