This used Martin D-42 from 1996 is in Mint condition, and looks and plays as amazing as it sounds. Featuring a classic tonewood combo, it has a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides, with standard forward-shifted, X-scalloped bracing for an inimitable tone. The select hardwood neck and the Ebony fingerboard show no signs of playwear - only beautiful Abalone Snowflake inlays starting at the first fret. It has grained Ivoroid binding throughout and the elegant Style 45 rosette.
Ideal for guitarists looking for some extra volume, this full-sized dread has plenty and doesn't sacrifice loudness for tone. The bass is balanced, the mids are clear, and the highs are crisp - an all-around incredible sounding guitar. Here with a 25.4" scale and roomy 1 3/4" bone nut, it's a comfortable player that will definitely keep up for years to come. This Martin D-42 includes its original hardshell case too.
