The Martin DCPA4 is a full-sized, 14-fret dread sized guitar with a cutaway, tailor made for those players who have longer gigs and need a workhorse for the road. Made with a solid Sitka Spruce top and Sapele back and sides, its tone is decidedly Martin - featuring Sitka's brightness and clarity and Sapele's crispness, and Martin's Hybrid X-scalloped bracing. Together, they sound remarkable - incredibly balanced and warm. The neck is fantastic, made from select Hardwood in Martin's fast and comfortable Performing Artist shape, while the fingerboard is black Richlite. You've also got a roomy 1 3/4" nutwidth here with a 2 3/16" string spacing.

It sounds wonderful, warm, full and balanced but you also have Fishman's remarkable and easy to use F1 Analog onboard electronics system already built in so you can sound just as great performing for 20 people or 2000 - all without losing a bit of the guitar's natural tone. Nice appointments abound including a Delmar tortoise-colored pickguard, a two-ring rosette, black Boltaron binding, and offset white ABS dot inlays. The Martin DCPA4 is built like a classic acoustic with modern playability and features, and it's totally road worthy. Includes a hardshell case and full setup from our luthiers.
