This 1954 00-17 from Martin is a nice example of a '50s 00 guitar built in the heyday of the Martin North Street Factory. All mahogany body, Brazilian rosewood bridge and fingerboard, this guitar has warmth and detail, perfect for fingerstyle or picking.

The 1-11/16" nut width and soft "V" profile feel great in the hand and make for an easy player. Straight bracing and a rear-shifted X-brace deliver extremely focused sound and great projection for a guitar of this size. This one is in Very Good condition for a guitar of this age features a crack free top and back with a small, cleated, and neatly repaired side crack on the treble side lower bout. Here with a full height original Brazillian rosewood bridge, and low saddle, it has a slightly higher action than standard, perfect for old-time rhythm playing. Includes a modern TKL hardshell case.
