This used Martin Guitars - 1959 D-28 has been restored and refinished back to playing shape, and sounds great. Featuring a set of gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and a Sitka Spruce top, this 28-style dreadnought has been refinished with a lovely sunburst that looks rich and compliments the binding well. This guitar has had a refret, a replaced thicker bridge, and a replaced pickugard, there are multiple repaired top cracks, along with a repaired pickguard crack. There is also a repaired stress crack along the shaft of the neck. The tuners are the original Grover Rotomatics that that were introduced on these dreads in the late '50s. There is evidence of a third inlay dot at the 7th fret that has been filled. There is playwear throughout, most noticeably near the fingerboard, and some buckle rash on the back. Includes an era-appropriate hardshell case (see photos).
