The Martin HD-28 Acoustic is one of Martin's best-selling guitars, and this beauty is a used 2000, in Mint condition - a nice opportunity to save money on a classic cannon. Its features are those found and prized on many Martins, including a solid Sitka Spruce top with standard X-scalloped bracing, solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, and classic Herringbone inlay. The select hardwood neck has an Ebony fretboard with Style 28 inlays. A versatile instrument, this HD-28 is fantastic for players of all styles, giving real clarity, resonance and warmth.
It has a 25.4" scale, a 11/16" bone nut with 2 1/8" string spacing. Really nice details include the Ebony belly-style bridge, tortoise style pickguard, Style 28 rosette, and HD zig-zag backstrip. What it comes down to though is the gorgeous, full tone and supreme playability. This Martin HD-28 Acoustic is a practically new guitar and includes its original hardshell case. A classic guitar that's 14 years old and still practically new is hard to come by, so check this one out while you can.
