This used Martin HD-28 Acoustic is a real cannon with a Sitka Spruce gloss top and gorgeous gloss finish East Indian Rosewood back and sides. Traditional detailing includes Herringbone inlay, Style 28 soundhole rosette and HD style Zig-Zag purfling on the back. This particular dread is in Excellent condition with one very small ding on the front near the bottom and one expertly repaired top crack under the bridge on the bass side (see photos). Our luthiers check it out thoroughly and it is structurally quite sound. This acoustic works well for many diverse players, but those who really want to be heard will particularly appreciate its iconic dreadnought build and Sitka/Rosewood tone.
It has a 25.4" scale, a 11/16" bone nut with 2 1/8" string spacing with nice details including a belly Ebony bridge, tortoise style pickguard and more. This Martin HD-28 Acoustic is a great opportunity to get a classic powerhouse at a nice price. The original Martin hard case is included too. Serial #888652.
