This used May Bell Tenor banjo is from a little company called Slingerland Banjo Co., that began building and selling instruments in the mid-1920s. A nonagenarian, it has certainly seen its fair share of action, but its Maple body and neck and Ebony fingerboard are in Good condition. Most importantly, though, it's still playable, and a heck of lot of fun. This May Bell Tenor banjo will be a charming addition to someone's instrument collection. No case.
