This used Mesa/Boogie Mark III Head and 2x12 Cab is in Very Good condition with only minor wear - presumably from rocking a little too hard on occasion. And that it does, very well. With three separate, footswitchable modes, you get the cleanliness of a classic Fender (Rhythm 1), the dark metal vibe of a Marshall (Rhythm 2), and the heavy crunchiness with smooth lead sustain of, well, a Mesa (Lead)—and everything in between, thanks to its array of controls, graphic equalizer, presence control, and built-in reverb. It has the versatility of a combo amp and a handful of pedals packed into one beastly amp head, and with the power of a 2x12" open-back Mesa cabinet? Get outta here.
The head is stacked with five 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6 and two EL-34 power tubes. Controls include Volume, Treble, Bass, Middle, Master, Lead Drive and Lead Master, all of which use a push/pull knob for additional tonal flexibility, adding brightness and depth to an already kickass combination, and a five-way graphic EQ. This Mesa/Boogie Mark III Head and 2x12 Cab really can do just about anything—a perfect fit for metal and blues players ('90s Danzig, anyone?), but with plenty of control so you can dial in your own tone easily.
