This used Mesa/Boogie Rectoverb amp is in Excellent condition and a legitimate contender for best combo amp available. Known for being a metalhead's chainsaw-distortion dream, Mesa created something a little unexpected with the Rectoverb—a multi-purpose amp that not only sounds great but can be used for more than just Master of Puppets solos. With 50 watts of Class A/B power via two 6L6 power tubes and five 12AX7 preamp tubes, it is more than capable of tearing through your bassist and drummer's own overtones with its thick low-end and piercing highs. What's the point of nailing all three solos from "One" if no one can hear them? Speaking of which, that's something that can be done with this combo: switch between three wildly different tones at the press of a button from its three-button footswitch. It's got two channels (Channel 1 for clean or pushed tone; Channel 2 for both vintage and modern high gains) and independent controls for Gain, Bass, Mids, Treble, Presence, Reverb, and Master Controls per channel - plus each channel can be made both clean and dirty for even more flexibility. Only a modicum of tweaking with the controls and you'll find that it's loud enough on its own and can accommodate players of any style. The Mesa/Boogie Rectoverb is a dynamic and harmonically rich amplifier that's ready to rock and shred on a moment's notice and it being used and in Excellent condition doesn't hurt you or your wallet.
