The Moog MF Boost Minifooger Pedal is a twin boost effects pedal that can switch between an articulate VCA signal path, and a more colorful OTA signal path - meaning you can get that distinct boutique amp tone or a more creamy, classic tone depending on its settings. Loaded with natural and musical compression, it's the perfect addition to a pedalboard that needs some livening up. It's got three individual controls - Gain, Tone, and Level - as well as a variable boost switch for either 6dB+ or 12dB+. And by adding an expression pedal, you can bump the gain to even higher levels (12dB+ and 18dB+).
The gain control sets the amount of overall gain. With the VCA signal path on (in the down position), this should be set to maximum to give you a tighter bottom, focused midrange, and an open top-end; the OTA signal path (up position), meanwhile, offers a creamier, smoother, only slightly compressed, and a more subtle midrange. The Tone knob adds openness and articulation at higher settings, and can fatten up an amp at lower settings. And the Level control lets you trim the output of the boost without tonal discoloration. An incredibly versatile addition to any pedalboard, and crafted with exceptional detail to tonal perfection, the Moog MF Boost Minifooger Pedal gives you boost, overdrive, and volume pedals all in one unit. It's true bypass and requires a 9V power supply.
