Built with premium materials and to the exact specifications of master guitarist John Petrucci, the JP15 is a build like no other, delivering exceptional performance. Built upon a lightweight Okoume body, the Amber Waves flame maple top serves up knock-out looks that pair beautifully with the roasted flamed maple neck. A fast 17" radius, slim profile, and smooth travel with their famous gunstock oil & special wax blend, their neck feel is exquisite and lets you play unimpeded for whatever style. The custom John Petrucci Music Man piezo floating tremolo is renowned for its sensitivity and stability, allowing for dives and quick trems that always keep their tuning.
Beyond its amazing build quality, the sounds of the JP15 are seemingly endless. Equipped with two DiMarzio Illuminator humbuckers and Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles, go from tight, rhythmic drive, to loose and expressive solo tones, while also blending in a beautiful acoustic piezo-driven clean if you so choose. An onboard 20db boost via the push/push knob allows you to drive your rig in any way you choose. Two 3-way switches go between the two magnetic humbuckers and between the humbuckers and the piezo respectively, allowing for ultimate versatility. Even further there's a push/push tone knob to split the magnetic coils in the middle position if you so choose.
The multiple output jacks allow for stereo output, either via two cables or a single TRS cable. This offers a potential for each pickup to drive a different setup, with the humbuckers potentially being driven while the piezo is kept clean for clarity in high-gain situations. Petrucci commanded expansive options in a sleek package that didn't compromise on performance, and the result is magnificent. For any musical situation, the JP15 is always a superb choice.
