National Resonators - 1934 Triolian Square-Neck

This vintage National Triolian Square Neck Resonator delivers big sound in a unique model that was discontinued in 1938. This resonator was made in 1933 or 1934 and is in Good condition, considering it is 80 years old. Built during somewhat of a transitional period for National, it features a lovely Walnut Sunburst on its durable Steel body, with a Round Basswood neck (instead of Maple, as from years prior). It has a comfortable 10" radius and full-sized 25" scale on a Rosewood fingerboard - and all in all it really sounds great. Few instruments are more suited for blues and bluegrass than the square neck resonator. While it has seen its share of wear over the years, it has plenty of life left in it with the right owner. The original National logo on the headstock has been removed, but otherwise it's all original. This National Triolian Square-Neck Resonator comes with a hard case too.

  • Body: Steel with Rolled-Edge f-holes
  • Scale Length: 25”
  • Neck: Basswood with Slotted headstock
  • Fingerboard: Rosewood
  • Frets: 19
  • Nut: Bone
  • Case: Hardshell Case included
