This ODE Banjos - 12" Sundance Open Back is a straightforward, quality-made old-time model built just outside Boulder, CO. A nod to the original Ogsbury family ODE banjo brand, this 12" features a Multi-ply Maple tone rim, wood rim-rod, and a reduced 14 rim brackets all combining to create a warm tone, with a bit of brightness to cut through a jam. With a shorter 25.5" scale length and a 17 fret scooped Ebony fingerboard, this open-back includes capo spikes at the 7th and 9th frets for all sorts of tunings. This Sundance has been upgraded to Include a wooden armrest for hours of comfortable playing. Includes a lightweight well-padded Gig Bag , and a free setup from our team of luthiers.
