This Ome Banjos - Custom Southern Cross Megatone Bluegrass model is a nod to the classic vintage banjos with some lovely OME construction and appointments. Featuring a Megatone 200 cast bronze tone ring, paired with a 3-ply Maple rim, this flathead sounds and looks fantastic. The Claro Walnut neck and resonator are absolutely stunning, finished off in a thin hand-rubbed varnish that makes for a lively, expressive instrument. Bright, clear and articulate, this is the sort of Bluegrass banjo that cuts through a jam, with a nice woody undertone in the lower register that is very satisfying. Includes the original deluxe hardshell case and a free setup from our team of luthiers.
