This 2017 Paul Reed Smith - Private Stock McCarty 594 is a celebration of tonewoods, straight out of the PRS Private Stock Vault. Featuring a stunning Curly Maple top, in a thin nitro McCarty Glow finish, this single-cut body delivers on the sustain and tone for which PRS has made its mark in this industry. The custom options on this Private Stock build continue with Brazilian rosewood throughout, along with Curly Maple body, headstock and fingerboard binding. Sporting the popular Santana neck carve, this Peruvian Mahogany neck is resonant and feels great in the hand. Speaking of resonance, the thin nitro finish is already sinking into the grain of these lovely tonewoods, making the guitar that much more open and resonant.

Here with a pair of 58/15 LT humbuckers with independent volume and tone controls, along with a coil split for each delivering a more single-coil sound, these humbuckers are extremely versatile and vintage inspired. There's very little playwear, just a few nicks here and there to the finish too minor to photograph, and a few marks on the pickup covers, but overall the guitar is in excellent condition. A great example of the attention to detail and craftsmanship from the Private Stock crew at PRS. Includes the original hardshell case
