Handmade in Iceland, this Pedal Projects Gold Klone Overdrive Pedal is a killer recreation of the elusive Klon Centaur overdrive of the '90s, only without the exorbitant price tag. Now featuring a smaller enclosure, it has the standard three knobs (Gain, Output, and Tone), but also allows players to switch between being true bypass or buffered bypass with a small switch in the enclosure. Capable of delivering fully transparent overdrive, it acts as a booster, too, so you can find just the right tone with ease. While not a super-fuzzy distortion pedal, it provides a stellar, warm mid-range and unbeatable overdrive. Here with internal 9V to 18V doubling and Neutrik jacks, the Pedal Projects Gold Klone Overdrive Pedal is an incredible remake of the original Klon Centaur. Uses standard 9V DC output.
