This Pisgah Banjos - 11" Appalachian Walnut with Vintage Heel brings that old-time banjo sound with the a few upgraded features. Hand-made in North Carolina with native hardwoods, this 11" features a Walnut rim and neck, paired with a traditional rolled brass tone ring, combining for that classic clawhammer sound. The standard banjo scale length has something to do with that as well, providing more string tension to drive that renaissance head a little harder, for a bolder sound. We've also upgraded this model with tastefully aged brass hardware, along with a vintage heel for a more refined look and feel. Includes a Pisgah branded Access Stage One gig bag.
