This 11" Pisgah is a nod to the vintage Dobson-style banjos of the past, with a few custom-ordered tweaks. Hand-made in Asheville, NC with native hardwoods, this 12" features a gorgeous stained Maple neck, combined with a stainless steel rim and Dobson tone ring for punchy sound with loads of sustain and a quicker fall off. A Mulheron walnut bridge helps to tame pesky overtones, delivering a nice dry sound that mellows nicely. The recessed truss rod cover is attached via internal magnets making truss rod adjustment a breeze.

The standout feature is the half-fretless neck equipped with brass plates in first position and the scoop. This leads to a rounder attack that pairs well with slides in the lower range of the fingerboard. A clawhammer-style dream instrument with a striking look and warm tone. Comes with an Access Stage One gig bag and a free Mass Street setup.
