This 2019 Preston Thompson D-E1A sports a large should hole design, reminiscent of the most famous flat-picking guitar in bluegrass history. Featuring an Adirondack spruce top paired with a lovely, straight-grained set of East Indian Rosewood back and sides, this 28-style dread has an open, warm and focused tone with a quick responsiveness that we like in a flat top guitar.
