The Rainger FX - Minibar is a distortion pedal designed for experimentation, with a removable cap and liquid reservoir. The liquid completes the circuit and the type and consistency of the liquid plays a roll in the sound. The opacity of the liquid plays into the bass and treble response, as well as the amount of gain available. Primarily this pedal is characterized as a band-pass tone with pleasing harmonics and pick attack. Crazy stuff from the Rainger crew, but a fun way to experiment with tone.
