This Rickenbacker - Rose Morris Model 1997, here in a fireglo finish from 1964, was originally commissioned by Rose, Morris & Co, to be built by Rickenbacker with unique features for the UK market. The most obvious design change being the f-hole design, a standout difference form the cat's eye in the American version. A fantastic vintage example of a rare bird from the folks at Rickenbacker, this Rose Morris features all jangle and chime one would expect.

The original tremolo tailpiece was replaced sometime in the 1960s with a standard Rickenbacker one. There is a fair amount of buckle rash, and finish wear, scratches, and nicks throughout. There is finish wear to the fingerboard and neck, along with oxidation on the frets and bridge. Moderate fretwear. 1 9/16" nut width, 1 15/16" string spacing. Includes the original hardshell case.
