The Rockbox Effects - Boiling Point is wonderful overdrive that is meant to easily cut through the mix in live or studio settings. Lots of gain on tap that can really make your amp rip with a three position diode selector for nearly endless variety of harmonic content. The "Plexi" mode is a Marshall-like distortion with a brilliant attack response. The "Symmetrical" is a very amp like overdrive, and the clean boost is meant to drive the front end of an amp into sweet breakup. If you use your volume knob to switch between leads and rhythm, you might never turn this pedal off. It behaves exactly as you would imagine an amp would. Great stuff from Rockbox Effects!
