This used 1987 Santa Cruz D213 acoustic guitar is a custom model with a body very similar to the traditional Santa Cruz Tony Rice Model, with a large sound hole and herringbone trim. The top is Sitka Spruce paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides. The guitar is crack free with only very minor nicks and scratches to the original finish. The neck has a 1 7/8" nutwidth, with a very flat, classical guitar profile. The neck has a hand rubbed oil-type finish, rather than a satin or gloss lacquer finish more common to steel string guitars.

Santa Cruz does not have records of custom builds from this 1987 era, but SC's Richard Hoover confirmed that it is likely a neck they would have done. The original owner also confirms buying it as a new guitar with the wide neck.The guitar remains in Excellent original condition, other than an installed LR Baggs pickup. The guitar is very playable, but does have a low saddle. A hardshell case is included with this Santa Cruz D213 guitar.
