The Seeker Electric Effects - Truth Bender brings together two of our favorite things, vintage-inspired Tonebenders, with Mike over at Seeker's special touch. A part of the 'Truth' family of pedals, the MK1.5-esque Tonebender eschews the typical Fuzz controls for a fixed resistor, and a bias control to deliver everything from spitty over-biased tones, to classic classic MK1.5 Bender tones, all the way to an under-biased setting that leans towards pinched horn sounds. A great sounding, dynamic, easy-to-use fuzz pedal.

Truth Bender is the newest member of the Truth family. As the name suggests it’s also in the Tone Bender family, specifically the MK1.5 Tonebender, a close cousin to the fuzz face but with a snarling tone all it’s own. More focused midrange and tighter low end with more volume than a FuzzFace, ripping texture like a Tonebender! The Truth series fuzzes all forgo the typical Fuzz control in place for a fixed (full on fuzz!) resistor, in its place a bias control to give you access to a lot more tones than you’d expect from such a simple configuration, starting at spitty over-biased tones, halfway is around “normal” bias giving you classic MK1.5 Bender tones, then finally reaching an under-biased setting that leans towards pinched horn sounds. So much texture! All the while cleaning up perfectly with your guitar volume control, a very dynamic fuzz experience!
This run features a Green Hammered finish with Repro FF knobs. Inside the circuit uses two matched NOS Tungsram AC125 Germanium transistors, NOS Philips capacitors and Koa Speer carbon film resistors. All lovingly hand built on sleek Seeker Truth boards. True bypass switching with LED and Center Negative (isolated!) power jack and internal battery snap are used.
