This Squier Vintage Modified VI Six String Bass is a really great way to open up creativity in your playing. Whether you've been playing guitar or bass, this VI has a lot to offer. If you've been thinking about a baritone, this is a great (and affordable) option with some really nice depth to the tone. It's also a very sharp looking homage to Fender's '61 Fender VI—a six-string electric bass, modeled after E-E bass guitars. Now, 52 years after its debut, this 3-pickup re-creation of the classic is here with some cool Vintage Modified tweaks. The crisp Maple neck is incredibly comfortable, with a streamlined Rosewood fingerboard, 1 5/8" nut width and roomier 9.5" radius fingerboard. This Squier bass VI is replete with Fender standards you've come to expect, but at an affordable price. The three Jaguar single-coil pickups and four slider switches, as on the 1963 version are simply fantastic. This has a classic 3-color Sunburst finish too, paired with a Tortoiseshell pickguard. Vibrato bar included. Free set up from our luthiers is included, too.
