Faithfully capturing and reproducing the warm saturation desired by so many, the Capistan delivers three different tape machine types: Fixed, Multi, and Single. Each of these has three modes, and ten tweakable parameters, making it a very versatile pedal.
Go from the sounds of a distressed, worn out machine in desperate need of new tape, to the clean, studio-quality sounds of a freshly serviced machine. The front panel's five control knobs double as hidden knobs for further tone shaping. Simply hold the Tap and Bypass switches simultaneously, and the dials become Tape Crinkle, Spring Reverb, Tape Bias, Low-End Contour, and +/- 3dB Cut/Boost controls.
