With already impeccable tone, the Sitka Spruce top and Blackheart Sassafras back and sides are enhanced by the Advanced Performance with Relief Rout bracing, offering even more warmth and focus to what can only be called a beautifully constructed and sounding guitar. And to further complement its flawless design, wood-rich details abound, including Rosewood binding, back strip, top edge trim, and outlines around the Abalone rosette. It also has mother-of-pearl Heritage Diamond inlays that really look great on its Ebony fingerboard.
This guitar has a 25 1/2" scale, 20 frets, a 1 3/4" Micarta nut, and a comfortable Tropical Mahogany neck. It also has Taylor's built-in Expression System 2, a powerful preamp system that faithfully conveys your guitar's sound without losing quality or tone, whether through a PA, amplifier, or direct for recording.
