This 2014 Taylor 812e acoustic guitar provides fingerstyle players in particular, real clarity, a warmer midrange and beautifully balanced tone - along with Taylor's unmatched playability. Taylor wunderkind, Andy Powers, gave this improved bracing, a thinner gloss finish by half (now 3.5 mil) and hide and fish glue construction, used by old school luthiers and small modern builders like Blazers & Henkes. Why hide glue? It gives your guitar more stability as it can withstand higher temperatures than wood glue, plus it gives the guitar just that much more overall response as it dries much stiffer than wood glue. The Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides are a classic combination and they are set off really nicely here with details like the Rosewood pickguard, and Element fretboard inlay.

Taylor's famous playability is here in spades - the Mahogany neck with a slotted headstock has a satin back with a 1 3/4" nutwidth, the body, a 24 7/8" scale with a 4 3/8" body depth. Taylor's own electronics are already installed, the ES2 Expression System, so you're ready to play out any time. This Taylor 812ce guitar comes with a deluxe hard case and full set up to your specs from our luthiers too. Serial# 1104034128.
