This stunning Mahogany Taylor 522e 12-fret acoustic is one very cool player with a really warm, vintage sound. The 24 7/8" short-scale neck and Grand Concert body shape make it a great fit for fingerstyle, but blues players, old time players and more will find this to be a great choice. The neck meets the body at 12th fret instead of the 14th shifting the bridge position farther away from the soundhole for a more aged, played in sound. It sounds wonderful both unplugged and through the on-board Taylor Expression System - which is incredibly easy to use.
It's a really comfortable guitar too - due in part to the Grand Concert size with its 4 3/8" depth, the 1 3/4" nutwidth and Taylor's inherently playable build. If you're looking for a beautiful, uniquely appointed (check out the cool fretboard "Century" inlay) acoustic-electric, with a fantastic sound, you owe it to yourself to check out this Taylor 522e 12-fret - it's outstanding on every count. Taylor hard case and set up to your specs included.
