The Legacy 855e is a 12-string acoustic-electric that harkens back to the ultra-playable 12-strings that helped put Taylor Guitars on the map back in the late '70s. Built with a Sitka Spruce top and Rosewood back & sides, the projection is hoisted up via more traditional X-bracing, something Bob Taylor favored in his earlier designs. This, along with the larger air chamber, lends this guitar towards a highly dynamic and rich voice that projects with great clarity and low end. The white binding and three-ring rosette in green abalone pay homage to Bob's more simply appointed designs, while still retaining upgraded aesthetics such as the mustache bridge. The neck has the modern Taylor profile which is low and comfortable, fitting in the hand superbly well.

Equipped with an L.R Baggs Element VTC pickup, this guitar is ready to deliver its voice anywhere. Comes with a Taylor deluxe hardshell case and a Mass Street setup to your specs from our luthiers.
