The Taylor Baritone 6 acoustic was designed for guitarists looking to play in lower registers with normal string tension so as not to adversely affect the tone. Tuned to B (B E A D F# B), its significantly deeper voice appeals to singer-songwriters looking to expand their repertoire, in addition to creating more depth to their music. The Grand Symphony shape coupled with the Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides deliver unparalleled tone.
The longer 27" scale accommodates the lower tuning, and the 1 3/4" nut width provides plenty of hand space for guitarists of all types. The neck is made from Tropical Mahogany, and the fingerboard is Ebony for a comfortable and great-looking combo. With the build quality you'd expect from a Taylor, it also has the accompaniments to make it really stand out, including a simple three-ring rosette, small diamond position inlays, a bone saddle, and an Ebony bridge with Abalone dot inlays.
An excellent compliment to other instruments as well, the Taylor Baritone 6 is a great option for guitarists looking for something a bit different or to open up new creative avenues. Includes hardshell case and full setup from our in-house luthiers.
