This Taylor GCe 12 Fret Custom Limited Edition Walnut Acoustic is an outstanding guitar with a really balanced, warm sound and cool appearance. This is a short scale (24 7/8"), 12 fret Grand Concert with a Sitka Spruce top and solid (gorgeous!) Walnut back and sides for a tone that's incredibly balanced - the highs have a distinct earthiness, while the mids and lows are well-pronounced. Especially good for flatpicking, it also sounds great with mellow fingerstyle playing. The neck is made from Maple and has an Ebony fingerboard, and the Maple-bound headstock has a Walnut veneer that complements the back. This guitar seriously looks amazing and offers a great sound and feel.
The shorter scale (24 7/8") tightens up its overall tone, and the 1 3/4" bone nut is comfortable for most players. Really nice appointments add to its already awesome aesthetic: Flamed Maple binding, a Maple Puzzle style rosette, and Maple position inlays. Taylor's Expression System 2 is also included, so you can plug in and play and have its impeccable tone through an amp/PA as well as standalone. At such a limited quantity, the Taylor GCe 12 Fret Custom Limited Edition Walnut Acoustic guitar won't be around long, so check it out because this one won't last. Includes original hardshell case and setup from our in-house luthiers.
