This used, 2013 Tom Anderson Hollow Drop Mongrel is an amazing merger of old school style with modern versatility and construction. This blends a traditional Tele guitar shape with a comfortable Strat-style contoured body and it plays like a dream. Reminiscent of comfortable, worn denim, its finish on the Flame Maple top is subtle yet stands out, as does the blue on the Alder back body. This Mongrel has internal hollow chambers, making it an even lighter rocker than it appears (6 lb, 12 oz), while maintaining superb sustain. It has a Maple neck with Anderson's Even-Taper profile and a Rosewood fingerboard, a 1 11/16" nut width, and 22 Medium frets.
This Mongrel has Anderson's own excellent SC1 single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions, and an HC2 humbucker at the bridge, giving you outstanding versatility. The SC1s have a distinctly vintage tone, while the HC2 offers a medium-hot output. You also have 5-way switching along with Add Bridge and the great VA Boost for kicking it up a notch during solos. The Tom Anderson Hollow Drop Mongrel is a smooth, light player that delivers on every count. It's in Mint condition and includes the original hardshell case too.
