The LA-2A Studio Compressor is Universal Audio's legendary Optical Tube compressor heard on countless records all condensed down into one small pedal. Voiced to precisely match the original hand-wired hardware, this gives you that three-dimensional, tube-driven vibe, full of character. Easy to use, with two main controls--peak and gain. The first to control where the compression will start hitting your signal, and the second to bring it back to your desired volume.

Incredibly smooth character, this pedal grabs your signal with a soft touch, and can either utilize the stock medium release or a faster one for tighter transients. True and Buffered bypass selector switch for whether you want to keep it entirely out of the chain when not in use, or to have it drip its iconic character onto your signal all the time.
